What happens if my flight is delayed and I have a TAL transfer booked? ▾
Nothing on your side — TAL tracks your flight number in real time. If your flight lands late, the driver automatically adjusts their arrival time at the airport. 60 minutes of free waiting are included in every airport pick-up at LYS. For a standard delay (up to 1 hour), no extra charge applies.
How long will the driver wait at Lyon Airport? ▾
The TAL driver waits up to 60 minutes free of charge from your flight's actual landing time. Beyond that, waiting fees may apply, but in the vast majority of cases — standard delays of 20 to 45 minutes — no surcharge is billed. For exceptional delays (over 2 hours), the TAL customer service team contacts you directly.
My flight was cancelled. What happens to my transfer? ▾
If your flight is cancelled, contact TAL as soon as you are informed. Call +33 7 43 60 71 35 or reply to your SMS confirmation. The transfer can be rescheduled at no charge if you are rebooked on another flight the same day, or refunded according to your booking conditions.
Does TAL track all flights, including international ones? ▾
Yes. TAL tracks in real time all flights arriving at Lyon Saint-Exupéry (LYS), whether domestic, European or intercontinental. The tracking database covers all commercial flight numbers. Simply enter your flight number when booking.

What if I have no flight number (transfer from home to the airport)? ▾
For outbound transfers (from your address to LYS), flight tracking is not needed. You choose your pick-up time based on your flight. We recommend booking your pick-up 2 hours before departure for international flights, and 1h30 for domestic flights.
